Former Deutsche Bank Senior Figure Returns To The Fold

A former senior figure, Anurag Mahesh, is rejoining the bank at its wealth management arm to take the post of vice chairman, Asia-Pacific.
Mahesh, who will begin in early January, based in Singapore, will report to Lok Yim, head of the international private bank for APAC and chief executive of the Hong Kong branch. In global reporting terms, he will report to Alessandro Caironi, global head of lending and advisory and sales.
As part of the move, Mahesh will also join the executive committee of the international private bank, Asia-Pacific, Deutsche said in a statement yesterday.
With more than a quarter-century of private banking experience, Mahesh will be joining from UBS, where he is currently co-head of global family office for Asia Pacific. In that capacity, he has driven the buildout of the family office business in APAC. He has also worked closely with regulators and other stakeholders in Singapore as part of key industry groups to boost the development of the family office industry there.
Mahesh spent ten years with Deutsche Bank from 2007 to 2017, serving in a wide range of leadership roles, most recently as global head of the key client partners group.
